Dima Dmitriev

Dmitriev Dima "Dima" is the artistic name of painter Dmitri Dmitriev.

He was born in 1974 in Moscow, Russia. Dima is a second generation painter. He graduated from the Prague Academy of Arts. In 1994, Dima began to show his paintings at various fine art exhibitions and started to become one of the most famous young Russian artists living in Prague. From 1996 Dima has participated in exhibitions held in the Czech Republic, Russia, Israel and Italy. His work is in great demand and is usually sells out, each exhibition. Dimas composition and style, although impressionistic, seem to become alive and appear three dimensional. His works often includes his favorite subjects like children, natural landscapes, fishing and the sea. Dima only works with oil on black canvas and paints only with a palette knife. Some big international companies, for example, AT&T (USA) or AWD Holding AG (Germany) have added his paintings to their art collections. As well as many private collectors from Czech Rep., Germany, USA, Russia, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Australia and others.
